The county jail for Las Vegas is the Clark County Detention Center, 330 S Casino Center Blvd downtown, (702) 671-3900. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police book felonies and serious misdemeanors there, and it is the one facility in the valley with a self-service in-custody search you can run yourself.
The City of Las Vegas Detention Center, 3300 E Stewart Ave, (702) 229-6444, is a different building. It holds people arrested inside Las Vegas city limits on municipal and misdemeanor matters. The two keep separate records, which is why a search at one comes back empty when the booking actually went to the other. If you are not sure which has them, run the county search first, then call the city jail.
